Eureka!

Hold on...you might think I have just made some astounding discovery.  It's no big deal really, but, at least for me, it's a triumph of sorts.

Yup, I finished my wallet.  This was my third attempt actually.  I did not bother to show the second one because the way I had made it turned out to be a bit too complicated for my own good.  And so, I stuck to the original design but made some adjustments to the measurements and construction.  Here it is folks...

The folded wallet is 4" by 7 1/2".  It has 6 card slots, 1 large zippered compartment for coins and 3 full width pockets for cash and what have you.

I've started writing the instructions for making this.  I am hoping to get the eBook out by the end of this week.  Wish me luck!

P.S. Yey, we've got a new cool monitor!

  2. It looks stunning, and not just because of the fabric you chose, but I do love that as well! I hope you sell tons of them and make your small fortune so you can shout, "Here we come mom!"

Now that I look back on your last posted attempt I'm having drool problems. Your fabric choices are so my style.

One question, and a possible suggestion for the pattern. Will this wallet work well with a magnetic snap? I personally like those better, and with one more option for the people sewing this, it may snag someone who likes them too. Of course you are the creator and know best, so whatever you think. I don't want to seem like I am stepping on toes.

  3. Hi B,
Thank you for your kind comments and suggestion. I might just try using a magnetic snap on a wallet one of these days...
